Franchise Owners Gather at Annual Conference

Each year, owners from the 270+ nationwide Real Property Management offices get together to learn new ways for enhancing their business and the service they provide to their clients.  Here are highlights from this year’s conference as we continue to invest in the future to improve service and client satisfaction.

Task Management2016 Annual Conference highlights

A new task management system will streamline property management activities and ensure all tasks are performed timely.  Real Property Management offices using the new and proprietary system will increase efficiency and productivity, and enhance their service quality.

Certification Program

Another initiative announced at conference is the first phase of the Real Property Management Certification Program which will soon be available to local offices.  The certification process provides enhanced education and training for specific roles which will further strengthen their property management expertise.

Business Challenges

One of the most popular segments of annual conference is when attendees share business challenges with each other, and discuss best practices for dealing with them. This valuable session allows franchise owners to give and receive advice from other owners and learn from each others experiences.


Finally, at each year’s annual conference, we take time to celebrate the accomplishments of our franchise system and highlight two specific offices.  Real Property Management Solutions of Portland, Oregon earned the Rising Star award, which recognizes a newer franchise that has had early success and contributes new life to the organization with their presence.


Rising Star Award: Real Property Management Solutions

Franchise of the Year is awarded to an office that has demonstrated leadership and goes out of their way to strengthen all Real Property Management offices across the country.  This year’s Franchise of the Year is Real Property Management Last Frontier in Anchorage, Alaska.  Franchise owners Kassandra Taggart and Erik Boltman not only continue to thrive in their own business, they also participate on councils, take time to provide thoughtful ideas and feedback, generously share their time and knowledge with other franchise owners, and have a continued desire to be even better. They join previous ‘franchises of the year’ including those from the past three years:  Real Property Management Greater Milwaukee Suburbs (2015), Real Property Management Sac-Metro (2014), and Real Property Management Winchester (2013).
